Ice Age 3 in 3D

Last night i went to see Ice Age 3 in 3D, I was really looking forward to it, as I love animations, and I liked the first two Ice Age movies. Add to that I even search the world to find out where the latest 3D movies are playing is another good sign that I would love this movie.

3D is very new in my city, and the only place I ever got the chance to watch 3D cinema was In Bangkok, where on every trip i always went hunting for it.

But I have to say I was disappointed, yes it was an ok movie, I didn’t hate it, but as with most part 3′s, Lion King and Shrek being other fine examples, I think the writers had already used all their best jokes in the first 2 of the series.

This was totally pointless as 3D movie, with 3D i expect things flying at me and giving me that extra experience, this had nothing of any note at all, just another 4$ to the price of the ticket really.

I would not like to discourage anybody to go to see it, as it is still better than most of the rubbish produced these days, but for what i expected from this movie, it really was almost putting me to sleep.

days off now

I just started my 3 day weekend yesterday, so am trying to make sure i don’t waste it as far as my weight loss challenge goes.

Yesterday I went for a run and an indoor bike ride, probably did about 500 calories, not bad considering how unfit i am, and it all adds up. I had to go out for dinner in the night though, so that cancels it out, but just had Chicken in Thai sauce with rice, so not the worst meal i could have eaten.

Today it is still before midday, but already i have been for a run and a bike, and will have Weetbix soon for lunch, so that should stop me eating chocolate for the afternoon, I may even try to sneak in another run before dinner. Now that i have hit 89 kg, I have renewed vigor to reach 86 at least.

I know what i need to do now

Well finally an update here, I purchased, or should i say hired some trading software that i could set up and let it run without me, unfortunately I don’t think i am able to use it to it’s potential as I am pretty techno dumb. I just can’t get it to run the way i want it to.

But, I have now got two strategies that I know work, but i would like a couple of others, my testing I did a few weeks ago, was awesome, but so much of it needs me to be here manually processing it. I plan to go on holiday to Thailand maybe after Christmas , I will make it a long holiday, take my laptop, and try to run my systems in a far more decent time zone, while eating yummy food, and enjoying the warm evenings.

That time of year is wonderful in Thailand, their winter, so the temperature is just perfect, and no rain.

Finally did a reweigh

I didn’t weigh myself for a couple of weeks because I lost interest after i wasn’t losing any weight, even when i was eating so much less chocolate, and not drinking Coca Cola any more.

But today I decided to try it, as I have been doing a lot of running , and with my new job, on late shift I tend not to eat, my diet is basically Weetbix for breakfast and then a few tiny mini Mars bars for energy during the evening. That is it, no lunch , no dinner. So surely i lost some weight.

I was 89kg this morning, so that is a 2.5kg loss since I started, weird how it is so slow, I use to get myself down to 87 very easily, although it is winter, so that could make a difference I guess.

I just wonder how long it will be until my body falls to pieces, I am sure it can’t be good to have a diet of Weetbix.

I have stopped recording my trading

I purchased some software to automate my systems, so at the moment instead of me writing down all my numbers, i let the computer do it, after i get use to it and learn how to export and analyse the data, i will start posting about it’s results again.

2nd week is over

I just weighed myself after my second week and I am down to 90.5kg, so only half a kilo this week, but i am not worried, as I had to eat a lot of bad food when visiting my parents earlier in the week, including desserts etc, and with my new job, I have had no time for any type of exercise this week.

Not bad, I am expecting to lose a full kilo in my third week as I will not be be working 3 of the days, and most likely wont have any days where I need to eat a lot like last week and the week before. Although last night I did eat a whole bag of chocolate fish :-)

Didn’t take any stats yesterday

Well I have found the strategies that work most consistently, so i have decided to stop testing all of them together, now I just need to find the best way to trade, and searching the net for some good automated software so i can just plug it in and watch it roll for me, especially over night.

I have decided to go with “AUS #4″ and “Uk Drift” as they are both fantastic strategies, i am very excited about it, I need a bigger starting cash float though, so maybe a couple of months before i can start operating them properly.

1st week is over

Well I weighed myself this morning and am now 91kg.

A little disappointing considering how much bad food i have cut out and how much exercise I did, but I guess I have to be patient, 1 week is nothing, and I did hear once that weight loss works 3 weeks behind, so what i did this week will kick in an a couple of weeks, so best not to lose faith just yet, and try to keep it up.

I kind of gave in to temptation last night, basically because i couldn’t be bothered cooking, so i bought butter chicken and 2 nan breads. The good thing is i had just half of it, and left the other half for today.

So tomorrow I have to go away again, so another 2 days without much exercise and probably big meals, but i guess that is all part of normal life.

When i think about it, if I lose 1 kg each week it is pretty good, and will just take 5 weeks to each my goal, and there will be less chance of me losing the plot and gaining the weight all back in a week.

Back to my weight loss now

I had to go away for work, so my plan stalled for a while, I ate a lot of calories while I was away, it kind of has to be done when the company is paying, so heaps of food and no exercise yesterday, I hope it didn’t damage my results for the week, just have to wait to see.

Today i had a very light breakfast, a muffin and some “up n go” milk breakfast drink, kind of ruined it with 2 pies for lunch, but at least I didn’t have any coke, or lemonade with it, I usually would have, so still managing to cut my usual calorie intakes. For dinner I just had some mushroom Tortellini, so even though it is pasta, it will burn fast if I exercise, and I had a small portion.

I burned 150 cals on the bike after dinner and then went straight to the treadmill and did 140 cals. So 290 cals all up, that is ok, as i am very unfit at the moment. I don’t feel i am losing any weight though, but hasn’t been long since I started, so have to stop thinking about that. I am definitely making sure i stay off the scales until my weekly check up.

Alberto Contador as sure as it gets

Well i just want to comment about the Contador vs Armstrong battle in the Tour de France, I think it is rubbish, Contador is a high class cyclist, very high class, and no one riding at the moment will get near him, he will gain time in the Time trial, and he will kill them in the moutains.

I have read so much about Armstrong possibly beating him this year, please, if I was rich I would lay Armstrong all day at $4.4, this is such a sure thing. Contador will win for many years to come. It was such a pity his team wasn’t invited to race last year.

By the way, Cavendish will win the Green jersey.
