watched The Reader tonight
Well I was really looking forward to seeing this movie, not only because Kate Winslet is in it, but because the write ups made it sound very interesting.
It was a good movie, but didn’t live up to my expectations, I was quite tired when watching it and almost gave up after 45 minutes, Just the expectation it may get interesting at any moment, kept me going.
As far as Nazi style movies go it doesn’t even touch “Schindler’s List”, now that may be harsh as “Schindler’s List” may even be touching on a top 5 all time rating, but really this was quite flat, great potential, but just never got there, nothing happened, it was just a story that had no reason.
It is not a movie I’ll be advising people to see, and I don’t like them making Kate look old 
Next movie to see has to be “Bolt 3D” or “7 pounds” as I have heard heaps about that being good.
